Charlie’s Coffee Shop — Website Build

Updated

Website BuildLocal SEOAI Visibility

Charlie’s is a family diner counter at LA’s Original Farmers Market, opened in 1976 by Charlie Sue Gilbert and run today by her daughter Katie. Breakfast all day, French toast, cheeseburgers. It had no website of its own. We built one from her own photos and her own menu board, and put it live on her own domain.

The site we built

charliescoffeeshop.com

What We Built

  • One page laid out like the real counter sites people already use: the food up top, then where, today's hours and the phone number in one strip
  • Only her own photographs, the ones Charlie's posted itself, no stock images anywhere
  • The menu follows the board at her counter, in six sections, vegan options included
  • Get directions and Call as the two biggest buttons, plus a phone bar that stays on screen on a phone
  • The story of the counter, opened in 1976 by Charlie Sue Gilbert and run today by her daughter Katie
  • Live on her own domain, with full schema.org markup (restaurant, menu, FAQ) so Google and the answer engines read the same facts a person does

What We Are Not Claiming Yet

The site went live on . The next job is her Google listing, so the people who look her up on Google land on this site.

There is no results number to show you yet, so we are not showing one. When there is, it goes here, the honest one, whatever it says.

We also can't tell you yet what a normal result looks like for a shop like this. We have too few clients to say, and every shop is different. What we can promise is the work itself: the site, the listing, and keeping both up to date.
